This workshop will provide a forum for land managers, native plant nurseries, and scientists working in academia based in California and Oregon to exchange experiences, best practices, and policy related to current and emerging knowledge associated with guiding ecologically informed applications of assisted gene flow.

- Engaging managers and scientists in conversation about the range of current practices being implemented, considered, or prohibited by their agencies or programs
- Sharing fundamental knowledge about organismal and evolutionary responses to climate change
- Identifying logistical and technological opportunities and hurdles for native seed procurement and measuring environmental, genotypic, and phenotypic data
This workshop takes place at Nature Bridge's Golden Gate Conference and Retreat Center located near Sausalito, California.
Participation is currently by invitation only. Lodging and food is provided for participants and travel stipends are available for participants.
This workshop is funded by an NSF Organismal Responses to Climate Change grant (IOS-2222466) that is a collaboration between Ben Blackman (UC Berkeley), Nic Kooyers (UL-Lafayette), Jay Sexton (UC Merced), and Dan Runcie and Siobhan Brady at UC Davis.
